177th Scout Group

The 177th Scout Group provides a range of activities to suit the local youth of the parish, including Sport, Camping, Hill Walking, Campfires, Swimming, Games and Group challenges. They also learn a wide range of skills such as survival, map and compass reading and pioneering.

St. Brigids Horticultural Society

This is a gardening group. They arrange lectures, demonstrations, visits, and outings. Their annual show is in August. Meetings are every fortnight at 8.00 p.m. in the Fr. Moloney Hall, Drapier Rd.

Riversdale Tennis & Sports Club

Tennis for all standards and ages. Individual and family membership. It is located on Glasnevin Avenue.

OLV Pitch & Putt Club

A leisurely pursuit of the short game of golf (pitch & putt) for males and females on Sundays and mornings at 11.30 a.m.

Glasnevin LTC (1909 – 2009)

Situated on Ballymun Road and celebrating its centenary year in 2009 Glasnevin Lawn Tennis Club has 8 eight floodlit all weather artificial grass tennis courts. Membership is open to all newcomers both individual and family as well as social members. Coaching is provided by the club coach upon request.

Glasnevin North Active Retirement Association

This is a social group. Activities include Art, Music, Dance Theatre, Indoor bowls, Bingo, Quiz, Pitch & Putt. Holiday trips at home and abroad. Meetings are on Mondays and Fridays.

C.L.G. Na Fianna

Na Fianna welcomes members young and old, male and female to participate in the games of gaelic football, hurling, camogie and handball or to enjoy the social facilities in the recently redeveloped clubhouse on Mobhi Road.With over 65 teams and a nursery of over 300 children on Saturday mornings, the club is a hive of activity.

“25” Card Drive

This Card game running for over 30 years. Proceeeds go to the church and school of Our Lady of Victories.

This is a social organisation: Their various activities include speakers on topical subjects, drama, debates, bowling, pitch and putt, outings, music. Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
