CELEBRATION OF MASS
Mass times are as follows: Vigil (Saturday Evening) Mass: 7:00 p.m. Sunday Masses: 9:00 a.m. (in Irish on the 1st Sunday of the month), 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon (Family Mass) & 6:30 p.m. (Young Adult Gospel Mass September-June) Weekday Masses: Mon-Fri: 10:00 a.m. First Friday of the Month: 7:30 p.m. Saturday morning Mass: 10:00 a.m. Masses on Holy days: Eve of Holy day: Vigil 7:00 p.m. Holy day: 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Bank Holiday Mondays: 10:00 a.m. only Evening Prayer Service: Monday - Friday 7:30 p.m. There is Mass every weekday in DCU at 1.05 p.m. in the Inter Faith Centre on campus and evening Mass in Whitehall at 7 p.m.
Music & LiturgyThe Mass is central to all that we do as a faith community. Our parish, like most areas in the Dublin Diocese, has a wide range of ages and interests. Our celebration of the Eucharist attempts to reflect this. With that in mind there are differing emphases in our celebration of Sunday Mass.
Saturday Vigil Mass @ 7:00 p.m. This will include congregational singing. The music is led by a cantor (Giovanna Feeley), and organist (Ephrem Feeley).

Sunday @ 9:00 a.m.On the first Sunday of the month this Mass is in Irish. Music on that day is led by the Radharc Ceilteach Irish music Group. If you would like to join the group, and have some fun and craic, practice is held on Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Sunday @ 10:30 a.m.This is our solemn Mass of Sunday. It will involve sacred incensing, the reverencing of the sacred texts of our faith, and include congregational singing.

Sunday @ 12 NoonThis is organised by our ‘Family Mass Group’. This group of young people meet in the Sacristy on Sunday morning and prepare the readings and music for the 12.00 noon Family Mass. The ‘Do This in Memory’ Communion preparation programme also takes place at this Mass. The emphasis is on families with small children.

Sunday @ 6:30 p.m. ‘Gospel Mass’The emphasis at the Sunday 6:30 p.m. Gospel Mass is on the faith journey of young people. It is organized entirely by young adults, and involves a creative approach to liturgy. Our OLV Gospel Choir sing at this Mass, and bring a great spirit of joy and life to it.

WeekdaysMass is celebrated in our community on weekdays at 10:00 a.m. (Mon-Sat) and at 7:30 p.m. on First Fridays only. An organized prayer service, followed by the Rosary takes place Monday-Friday @ 7.30 p.m.
