CHILD PROTECTION STATEMENT

We in the parish of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road, value and encourage the participation of children and young people in all parish liturgies and in activities that enhance their spiritual, physical, emotional and social development.

We recognize the rights and dignity of children and young people and are committed to their protection and support.

In keeping with this, the Parish Pastoral Council, in consultation with the Dublin Diocesan Child Protection Office, drew up a CHILD PROTECTION POLICY which has been adopted and is currently being followed. We will work, with this policy of best practice, to create a safe environment for children and young people, in order to secure their protection and enable their full participation in the life of the Church.
